ROCKLIN, Calif. – Tomorrow's scheduled match between Jessup and Lincoln University (CA) has been canceled. The news was confirmed this afternoon after Lincoln notified Jessup that they would be unable to make the trip.
Head coach
Amsalu Fantahun is actively working on adding a match to the schedule, but the opponent, date, and time is still up in the air.
The news of the cancelation comes as a disappointment to the Warriors, who had to cancel their match last Friday against UC Merced due to air quality issues. Jessup has not seen live competition since their September 3 draw in Redding.
As the schedule currently stands, the Warriors will not be back on Warrior Field until September 20, when they welcome UC Santa Cruz to Rocklin. That will be the final non-conference match for Jessup before their September 29 GSAC opener against Hope International.
