CALDWELL, Idaho – Jessup wrapped up their two-match trip in Idaho on Thursday, taking on the No. 19 ranked Yotes of the College of Idaho. Still looking for their first goal of the season, Jessup heads home on the wrong end of a 5-0 defeat, placing them 0-2-0 on the season.
The Warriors started the trip on Tuesday with a 4-0 loss at the hands of Southern Oregon, a team that entered the season receiving votes in the national poll.
Jessup got off four shots in the match, all coming via junior
Kaylee Gillespie. Gillespie, who returned to the starting XI in this one, registered three shots on goal.
The Yotes netted three first-half goals to take a 3-0 lead into the intermission. They would then add two more early in the second half to give them their decisive lead. Natasja Davis (9', 23') netted the first two COI goals, with Alondra Osuna (45'), Kyndra Lyons (50'), and Larissa Wegner (52') adding the next three.

Madeline Jern played 80 minutes in goal, registering a career-high ten saves.
Lilliana Fenn recorded two saves in ten minutes off the bench.
Jessup now returns home to play their first official home match of the season. The Warriors will welcome Simpson University to Rocklin on Tuesday, with the match scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
