ROCKLIN, Calif. - Jessup got back into the swing of things with a Saturday evening home game. The Warriors succeeded over Bethesda University in a 3-0 shutout win.
The Warriors returned strong and victorious after a tough loss in Santa Cruz earlier this week. A couple of first goals for the Warriors pushed them to another shutout pre-season win.
Tia Ho found her first goal of the season with an assist by
Maddy Bichel to put the Warriors ahead.
Abella Waterman continued the push as she saw the back of the net to make the score 2-0.
Bethesda and Jessup would find an opportunity to score with a strong offense and a couple of hit posts.
As the clock wound down to the last minute of regulation play,
Jenessa Cisneros scored to conclude the shutout win in a 3-0 victory. This win pushes the Warriors to 4-4-1 on the season just before entering regular season games.
The Warriors will begin the GSAC competition next Thursday, September 28th, at 1:30 PM as they take on Arizona Christian on Warrior Field.
