Box Score ROCKLIN, Calif. - The Warriors kicked off the regular season in a conference mid-day game against the Firestorm of Arizona Christian. 

The Thursday afternoon loss moves the Warriors to 5-5-1 on the season after a dominating 3-0 home victory last week. 

The Firestorm got ahead early in the game as Grace Carney scored her first goal of the season for ACU just three minutes into the game (3:43). ACU continued to push ahead in the first half, making it 2-0 with a goal by Justyne Underwood. 

The scoring continued for Arizona Christian in the second half, with two goals coming from Cameron Mercado. These two goals made it her seventh and eighth goal of the year. Jayme Notgrass would score in the 84th minute of the game to conclude the score 5-0. 

The back-and-forth, intense play resulted in multiple fouls distributed between ACU and Jessup throughout the game. The Warriors had their chances on offense with nine shots on goal but came up empty-handed. Liliana Fenn had four total saves on goal.
