HONOLULU, Hawaii - The week began in the 808 state for the Warriors in a Monday afternoon contest against Chaminade University. Day one of the trip across the Pacific Ocean resulted in a loss with a final score of 1-0 in favor of the Silverswords. 

The Warriors are now 2-6-2 overall and 0-2-1 in conference play.

Chaminade is currently undefeated in conference play, having won its third game in a row. The Silverswords dominated offensively, outshooting the Warriors 17-to-4. 

Zeros swept the board for the first 45 minutes of play for both teams at Saint Louis Field. 

Celeste Fernandez started in goal yet again for the Warriors. The starting goalie blanked Chaminade in the first 45 of the game. Fernandez would tally six saves out of the seven shots on goal. 

Chaminade would eventually find the back of the net in the seventy-second minute of play. Jessup would be unable to capitalize the remainder of the game. 

Jessup is still searching for a progression in its offensive push, hoping to mark its first win in NCAA PacWest conference play.

The Warriors will continue their trip across the Pacific Ocean on Wednesday at 10:00 (PST) when they take on Hawaii Pacific University.
