SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Warriors concluded their final road trip of the 2024 season on a trip down south to San Diego. A 3-1 loss favored the Sea Lions of Point Loma Nazarene.
Jessup will return to home court with a record of 13-11 overall and 9-8 in PacWest conference play.
Senior Madalyn Miller paved the way for the Warriors with 18 kills on the night. Eliana Sheridan tailed Miller on the killer leaderboard with 14 kills in the four played sets.
Eliana Sheridan, Neena Dimas, and Alexis Kepa all tallied nine digs on the defensive end for the Warriors.
The last time these two teams met, the Sea Lions swept the Warriors in a 3-0 win. Jessup tried to change the narrative this time around on PLNU home court.
The Sea Lions jumped ahead of Jessup early with a 25-13 first-set victory and set two in a 25-20 effort. The lone victory set for Jessup would come in set number three with a 26-24 defeat. The Sea Lions, however, would end the night in the fourth and final set of the night in a 25-21 defeat.
The Warriors will return home for the final three home games of the 2024 NCAA inaugural season. The week will begin on Tuesday night against Dominican University of California at 6:00 PM. The week will continue on Friday night, and Senior Day will be held on Saturday afternoon at Horton Court.
