ROCKLIN, Calif. – A full day of STUNT was on the calendar Friday as Jessup welcomed teams from around the West Coast for a two-day invitational. With day one being highlighted with a national championship rematch, Jessup swept the day to improve their win streak to three.
The Warriors are now 9-2 on the season, with six of those victories coming in front of their home fans inside Warrior Arena.
Friday began with a matchup with the Seawolves of Sonoma State. The Warriors hit on all cylinders, as it was a shutout and a perfect 24-0 win for the Warriors.
Next up came the Lions of Vanguard, the team Jessup beat in back-to-back seasons to win the NAIA STUNT National Championship. The Warriors came into Friday winners of six straight with the Lions, dating back to the national championship game of 2022.
The streak is now at seven, as Jessup took down the Lions again, 16-10.
Jessup will be back on the mat two more times tomorrow as they host George Fox and Saint Mary's. Jessup's first contest is slated for 11 a.m.
