ROCKLIN, Calif. – After two wins on Friday, Jessup was back in action in front of their home fans on Saturday with two more contests. Hosting George Fox and Saint Mary's, Jessup picked up two wins in shutout fashion, running their win streak to five.
The Warriors began the weekend by taking down Sonoma State and Vanguard yesterday inside Warrior Arena.
Jessup's first game of the day came against the Bruins of George Fox. The Warriors found themselves perfect through three quarters, taking a 12-0 lead into the fourth. The only point Jessup failed to score in their 23-0 victory came off routine seven, the second routine called of the final quarter.
The win was the first for Jessup against GFU, as it was the first-ever meeting between the two schools in STUNT.
Next came the finale of the weekend's 12 matches inside Warrior Arena, as the Warriors took on the Gaels of Saint Mary's.
It was another shutout victory for the Warriors, this time by the final of 18-0. The highlight moment came at the end of the first quarter, as Jessup executed routine eight, sending the Jessup bench and crowd into a roar.
The game with Saint Mary's was called after the second routine of quarter four due to Saint Mary's being unable to send out a full roster for all four routines.
The two wins for the Warriors improve their season record to 11-2.
Jessup will return to action on Friday, March 29, when they host UC Davis for Senior Night. Tickets are on sale
