STUNT Ends Weekend with a Split

Jessup began the day taking on the defending Division I National Champions; The Warriors put up a perfect 24-0 in the finale

ROCKLIN, Calif. – Day two of Jessup's two-day STUNT invitational has come to a close following another packed day of STUNT inside Warrior Arena. Beginning with one of the best programs in the nation and ending with one of the newest, Jessup split the day to end the weekend 3-1.

The Warriors are now 7-2 in year four under head coach Alexis Blunk.

First on the schedule for Jessup was the top-ranked Division I program, Cal Baptist. The Lancers, the reigning national champions of NCAA Division I, improved their season record to 11-0 as they won 24-1 in their first appearance inside Warrior Arena since 2021, Jessup's first year of STUNT.

CBU played twice on Saturday, as they also took down Saint Mary's in the opening contest of the day.

Then Jessup got to rest, as it would be six hours before they returned to action in the final contest of the day when they faced off with OUAZ. It was the second meeting of the season between the Warriors and Spirit, as Jessup took down OUAZ 23-0 earlier in their trip to Tempe.

The game got off to the start Jessup envisioned, as the Warriors swept the first quarter, followed by a second quarter sweep as Jessup took an 8-0 lead into the ten-minute intermission.

Quarter three jumps and tumbling, again saw the Warriors sweep the board as the action entered the fourth with Jessup leading 12-0.

The fourth quarter was much of the same, as Jessup grabbed another 12 points, giving them a perfect score and a shutout, as the final saw Jessup winning 24-0.

Jessup will get two weeks off before their next competition, as another weekend to STUNT comes to Rocklin March 15-16. The Warriors will begin their four-game weekend when they host the Seawolves of Sonoma State on March 15 at 2 p.m.

The Warriors will also take on George Fox, Saint Mary's, and Vanguard that weekend. Jessup has not seen Vanguard since the NAIA STUNT National Championship a year ago. Tickets are on sale HERE.
