ROCKLIN, Calif. – Women's Tennis returned home on Monday as they welcomed the Yotes of the College of Idaho to Rocklin. With the match counting toward GSAC records, COI came out victorious by the final of 6-1.
College of Idaho is a member of the Cascade Collegiate Conference, but does compete in the GSAC for tennis.
Jessup claimed one of the three doubles matches, as the combo of
Jessica Holbea and
Katlyn Perry were victorious 6-2. However, the Yotes claimed the one point for doubles action by winning the other two bouts.
The Warriors claimed a point in singles action after Holbea won in straight sets (6-1, 6-1).
Jessup moves to 2-7 overall with the loss. The Yotes move to 4-12 while their record in conference action climbs to 2-1.
The Warriors will be back on the court on April 5 when they welcome OUAZ to the tennis courts at Sierra College. Three of the Warriors' final five matches in the regular season will take place at home in Rocklin.
