TURLOCK, Calif. – Four Warriors were in action this week as the two-day multi-event meet hosted by Stanislaus State was held. With the conference championship looming, this week offered more chances for athletes to compete in the decathlon and heptathlon.
In the field from Jessup included
Jaylee Hameister,
Alexander Travis,
Everett Beader, and
Brock Jedlicka.
Travis placed eighth with a score of 4,809. His time of 52.59 in the 400m sets a new PR in the event. Baeder also PR'd in the 400m, posting a time of 56.33.
Baeder saw additional PRs come in the javelin (40.78m) and 1,500m (5:24.33). His score of 4,717 is a new collegiate best. Jedlicka posted PRs in the long jump (5.28m), pole vault (3.05m), javelin (39.57m), and 1,500m (5:21.38).
Hameister finished the heptathlon with a score of 2,593.
The rest of the Warriors will be in action tomorrow as Jessup makes their second appearance at Sacramento State. The Sacramento Invitational will begin tomorrow from Hornet Stadium.
