FULLERTON, Calif. – Jessup's bid to become back-to-back GSAC STUNT Champions began on Friday, as the Warriors were in Fullerton for day one of the GSAC Championship. With the two Arizona schools on the schedule, Jessup never conceded a point as they pick up two shutout wins.
The Warriors improve their record to 14-2 with the Friday sweep.
Jessup began the day by taking on OUAZ. The game saw the Warriors win all 24 points as they secured a 24-0 shutout. It was Jessup's third win against the Spirit this season, all coming in shutout fashion.
The Warriors then ended the night by taking on Arizona Christian.
It would be another shutout win for the Warriors against the Firestorm, this time by the final of 17-0. Jessup went 2-0 against the Firestorm this season, winning both games by a combined score of 33-0.
Tomorrow will see Jessup return to action as they are set to take on two of the top teams in the NAIA. The day begins with a 10 a.m. game against No. 3 Vanguard and then ends with a 2:30 contest against Hope International.
HIU is now the No. 1 team in the nation, as the Warriors recently dropped to No. 2. All games will be streamed on the GSAC Sports Network.
