COLUMBUS, Ga. – Weather has taken over western Georgia, as Mother Nature has pushed pause on the NAIA Softball World Series. Jessup, who was scheduled to play at 4 p.m. (EST), will now regroup and prepare for their next game on Tuesday.
The NAIA announced that Jessup's elimination game with Madonna is now scheduled for noon (EST). Tuesday will begin at 10 a.m. (EST) with Oregon Tech and Cumberlands finishing their game that is currently in the the bottom of the third.
With a victory against Madonna, Jessup will return to the field at 5 p.m. (EST) to take on the winner of the Oregon Tech-Cumberlands game. A win in that game means Jessup will be playing a third game on Tuesday, as a spot in the championship game will be played at 7:30 p.m. (EST).
