ARCATA, Calif. – Three matches into the 2024 season, the Warriors took to the road for the first time on Wednesday as they visited Cal Poly Humboldt. With two goals in the second half, the home standing Lumberjacks walked away victorious by the final of 2-0.
Jessup returns to Rocklin now 1-3 in their inaugural Division II campaign.
Humboldt found the back of the net 64 minutes into the match when midfielder Mari Ige connected off an assist from Morgan Young. Their second tally came in the 78th minute after an Annie Hoffman strike from 25 yards out found the top left corner of the goal.
Hoffman's attempt came after the Warriors lost possession in their defending third, allowing for the one-on-one opportunity.

Kaylee Gillespie recorded two of those chances, with
Angela Shannon recording the other.
