This Week in Review & The Week at a Glance

10/05/25

ROCKLIN, Calif. - It's a jam-packed week for Warriors Athletics as multiple teams hit the road for exciting matchups! Men's and Women's Golf travel north to face off against Dominican (CA) in the Grapevine Ryder Cup Dual, looking to end their fall season on a high note. In Southern California, both Men's and Women's Soccer make the trip to Irvine for tough contests against Concordia. Meanwhile, Women's Volleyball prepares for a two-game stretch, first against Dominican (CA) and then back home to Warrior Arena to take on Fresno Pacific. Finally, Men's Tennis will test their skills at the competitive Aggie Invitational in Davis, while Cross Country gets a much-needed week of rest following strong performances at the Pacific Invitational.

Men's Golf
The Men's Golf team will travel north to Portola to face off against Dominican (CA) in the Grapevine Ryder Cup Dual at Grizzly Ranch Golf Club. The Warriors will look to finish the fall season strong following last week's action at the Western Washington Invitational where Jessup placed 11th and saw two Warriors, Braden Armstrong and Nick Chavarin, finish in the Top-40 among the 80 player field. Dominican (CA) comes into this matchup off the heels of a 3rd place finish at the RCA Electric Invitational hosted by Menlo.

Women's Golf
The Women's Golf team will look to flip the script in the Grapevine Ryder Cup Dual against Dominican (CA) at Grizzly Ranch Golf Club in Portola following their 5th place finish in the RCA Electric Invitational. Julianne Canda led the Warriors, placing 10th in the 30 player field, with a strong performance from Priscilla Padilla as she finished just outside the Top-15. At the same event, Dominican (CA) finished 2nd in the five team field.

Women's Soccer
The Women's Soccer team will make the quick trip down to Irvine to play against Concordia. The Warriors look to build off two defensive battles in Southern California, following two competitive games ending in a draw to Biola and a loss to Vanguard. The most recent meeting between the two teams came in last season's Senior Day where, despite a strong defensive effort from the Warriors, the Golden Eagles ultimately came out on top. Concordia enters this match after a draw with Dominican.

Women's Volleyball
After a thrilling 3-1 victory over Westmont, the Women's Volleyball team will be back in action as they travel to San Rafael to face off against Dominican (CA) before returning to Warrior Arena for a matchup against Fresno Pacific. This season's first matchup against the Penguins was all Warriors as they took the match in a 3-0 sweep, highlighted by strong attacks on both the offensive and defensive ends. The initial matchup against Fresno Pacific was a hard fought match in which the Warriors battled back from a 0-2 deficit to take the match to a 5th set before the Sunbirds pulled away to take it 3-2. Dominican will enter the matchup following losses to Point Loma and Fresno Pacific while the Sunbirds went 3-0 on the week, continuing their unbeaten start to the season.
