ROCKLIN, Calif. — Jessup University Athletics is proud to announce that sophomore Middle Blocker Addie Hamilton has been named to the 2025 All-PacWest Conference First-Team for women's volleyball.
This prestigious selection marks a significant achievement for the Warriors, who recently began their journey as full members of NCAA Division II. The sophomore becomes the first Jessup women's volleyball player to be named to the All-PacWest First-Team.
Hamilton, a Kinesiology major from Rocklin, CA, delivered a dominant performance throughout the season, establishing herself as one of the most effective and versatile players in the PacWest. She ranked among the conference leaders in several key categories, consistently delivering impactful kills and anchoring the Warriors' defense at the net. Her season was highlighted by several matches where she totaled double-digit kills and demonstrated elite defensive prowess with multiple block assists.
Among the PacWest standings, she was tied first in block solos on the year with five. Hamilton earned top three in kills per set with 3.58 and fourth in kills with 319 total on the year. She landed sixth in the conference in points with 352 as well as sixth in block assists with 40. For the Warriors, she led her team in kills and points. Her highest kill performance came on the road at the No. 2 Point Loma Nazarene Sea Lions late in the year. She accumulated 22 kills in the single match which was the most of any Warriors throughout the season.
Hamilton's standout season comes as Jessup University continues its successful integration into the PacWest Conference. As the Warriors conclude their second year of NCAA Division II membership, this First Team honor underscores the program's ability to compete and achieve elite recognition early in its NCAA era.
"Addie was an incredible addition to our roster and culture. I'm very proud of how she performed this year and the First Team honors she earned," said Head Coach Kyle Steel. "She was also a great teammate and human being, so I couldn't be happier for her and can't wait to see what her last two years hold for her."
