NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - The Warriors took on CSU Northridge in a Valentine's Day matchup that was streamed on ESPN+. Jessup was able to swipe one match but would eventually fall to the Matadores three games to one.
The Warriors are coming fresh off a payback victory against UC Merced at home on February 12th. This loss today has Jessup at 4-3 overall in their first year in action.
Carter Depue led the leaderboard for the Warriors with 16 kills on the night. Behind him was Jan Lopuch, who had 12, and Owen Henning, who had seven total kills. Lopuch is leading the way for the Warriors overall in kills this season, with 97 on the season thus far.
CSUN won the first match of the night 25-15 over the Warriors. Jessup bounced back quickly in match number two, beating the Matadores 25-22.
CSU Northridge won the Friday night contest by winning the next two matches, both with scores of 25-17.
Jessup will return home and get a lengthy break before their next contest. They will return on February 27th in a road trip against Soka University of America.
