Müller Earns MPSF All-Freshman Team Honors Following Breakout First Season

04/28/26

ROCKLIN, Calif. - Jessup men's volleyball freshman outside hitter Jonas Müller has been named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) All-Freshman Team following a stellar debut campaign where he quickly emerged as a premier offensive weapon for the Warriors.

Hailing from Moelln, Germany, the 6-foot-5 outside hitter wasted no time adjusting to the collegiate game. Müller became an undeniable force at the net, finishing his freshman season second on the team in total kills with 232. He was a reliable, explosive presence in the lineup, consistently delivering points when the Warriors needed them most.

While his powerful swing drew the most attention, Müller's all-around play is what solidified his spot among the top freshmen in the conference. He proved to be a versatile two-way player, ranking third on the team with 13 service aces while tallying 89 digs and 25 total blocks on the defensive end. Amongst his MPSF competitors, Müller finished tenth in kills with his 248 strikes.

Whether battling through grueling non-conference matchups or stepping up in high-stakes MPSF play, Müller showcased a level of maturity and poise rarely seen in a first-year player.

With an impressive freshman season under his belt and an all-conference honor to his name, Müller has firmly established himself as a foundational piece for the future of Jessup Men's Volleyball.
