SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – Jessup Tennis began a two-match stint in the Bay Area on Thursday, with the Warriors squaring off with the Dominican Penguins. Following a 7-0 loss at the Castellucci Family Tennis Center, the Warriors move to 0-4 on the season.
Doubles action saw Dominican take all three matches, claiming the one point. The duo of
Angel Cody and
Sophia Serdichenko fell by the final of 6-3, with
Olivia Gutierrez and
Rylie Maloney losing via the same score.
Briana Smith and
Nia Macay lost in the first position, 6-2.
Dominican followed it up with a 6-0 sweep in singles action, improving their overall mark to 4-1 on the season.
