LIVERMORE, Calif. — A two match visit to the Bay Area concluded on Friday with the Warriors taken on the Urban Knights of Academy of Art. With a 7–0 loss, Jessup leaves having gone 0-2 on the trip.
Doubles action saw Academy of Art take two makes, earning them the one point. The third bout went unfinished. The duo of
Sophia Serdichenko and
Angel Cody, along with
Rylie Maloney and
Olivia Gutierrez were the ones to have their matches finish.
In singles action, the Urban Knights claimed a 6-0 sweep, with all matches closing in straight sets.
The Warriors will continue their season on February 28 when they head to Turlock to take on Stanislaus State. That will be Jessup's first match of the season against a non-Pacwest opponent. The match is scheduled for noon.
