CLOVIS, Calif. – After a record-breaking performance a week ago at the Hornet Invitational, Jessup returned to action on Saturday in Clovis at the West Coast Relays. In another successful day on the track, the Warriors continue to improve leading up to next month's conference championship.

Thrower Julia Pisenti set a new PR on Saturday as she posted a mark of 41.91m in the javelin. That mark sets a new program record, adding to the record breaking performance she set a week ago in the disucs. Pisenti added a second-place finish in the discus on Saturday, finishing 1.5m below her record mark. She also added a second-place finish in the shot put.

Gianni Miles also had a record-breaking performance a week ago in Sacramento, and on Saturday, he topped his mark. Miles ran 10.41 in the 100m, besting the record he set a week ago by 0.04 seconds. He then returned to the track in the 4x100m to be one-fourth of a team that ran 42.31, again breaking the record they set a week ago.

The record-setting relay team also included Logan Scammell, Christopher Hackney, and Lawrence Mitchell-Patter.

Another record fell in the throws on Saturday as Derek Brown posted a PR throw of 41.66m in the discus, giving him the program record. The day also saw big PRs out of Jeremiah Price in the 100m and 400m hurdles. Hackney also added a PR in the 400m.

On the women's side, Aurora Osburn had a big day with PRs coming in the 200m, long jump, and triple jump. Jocelyn Pedretti also set a PR in the discus.
