ROCKLIN, Calif. – Tennis was back home in Rocklin on Saturday as the Penguins of Dominican made their visit to Sierra College. With the Warriors being affected by injuries, Jessup could not suit up a full unit as the day saw Dominican leave with a 7-0 victory.
The Warriors are now 2-11 on the season.
Doubles action saw Dominican win one match with the other point coming via forfeit. The duo of
Angel Cody and
Nia Macay saw their match go unfinished. The Penguins followed doubles play with five more victories in singles action along with another forfeit win.
Jessup will be back in action on Friday when they visit Fresno Pacific. Four matches remain in the Warriors' first Division II campaign.
