ELGIN, Ill. – The inaugural season of Jessup Men's Volleyball is 24 hours away from taking its next step as the first-ever NCCAA Men's Volleyball Championship gets underway on Friday. With four teams setting up shop this weekend in Illinois, the Warriors are looking for a perfect ending to their debut season.
Jessup comes into the postseason with a record of 11-9. They have not played since April 11 against Pepperdine.
The Warriors are the top seed in the inaugural NCCAA Championship. Jessup are the representatives of the West Region and will get a chance to take on the other three teams in the field as round-robin play begins on Friday.
Judson, Oakland City, and Roberts Wesleyan are the additional teams in the field.
The two-day tournament will begin with round-robin action as all four teams will square off with one another. Two matches by each school will be played on Friday, followed by the final matches of round robin play on Saturday. The top two teams from round-robin play will advance to the national championship game on Saturday evening.
Jessup will open the weekend with Roberts Wesleyan, a Division II program out of Rochester, NY. The Redhawks are the fourth seed in the field. The Warriors will wrap up Friday with an afternoon contest against Judson. Judson, the hosting location of this tournament, is an NAIA program that enters as the second seed.
Round-robin action concludes on Saturday morning with the Warriors taking on Oakland City, an NAIA institution out of Indiana.

The Warriors flew into Illinois on Wednesday and began the championship week festivities on Thursday with a community outreach project. The team worked with Feed My Starving Children to pack food for people in need.
A banquet and opening ceremony will be held Thursday night to formally kick off the competition.
The 2025 NCCAA Men's Volleyball Championship takes place inside the Lindner Center on the campus of Judson University. All games will be streamed live (for a fee) on the
NCCAA Network.
