LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The honors continue to roll in for three of Jessup's finest as All-Region honors have been announced. The same three Warriors who earned a selection to the PacWest All-Conference team can now add All-Region selection to their resume as the NFCA dropped their regional teams late last week.
The National Fastpitch Coaches' Association (NFCA) released its selections for the All-Region team.
Sarah Giles has been selected for the first team, and she is joined by
Madisyn Leffle and
Maddy Ybarra, who earned spots on the second team.
Giles was a first-team selection a year ago, a season that ended with NFCA Player of the Year honors. Giles, a first-team conference selection as well, followed up her historic 2024 season with a .420 batting average, 14 home runs, 16 doubles, and 70 RBI in 2025. The senior first baseman led the PacWest in home runs, doubles, RBI, and slugging percentage (.815).
Leffle grabbed a spot on the second team following a season in which she hit .429 with 24 stolen bases. She was also a first-team conference selection.
Ybarra, the 2025 PacWest Player of the Year, was selected to the second team on the regional honorees. The utility selection hit .414 in 2025 with 12 home runs and 62 RBI. She stole 45 bases in the regular season, the third most in Division II at the time.
The NFCA honor was the first of two All-Region selections for Ybarra, as she also added D2CCA All-West honors.
