Madisyn Leffle Earns CSC Academic All-District Honors

The award recognizes achievements on the field and in the classroom; Leffle qualifies for the Academic All-American ballot

05/28/25

ROCKLIN, Calif. – In recognition of her work on the field and in the classroom, outfielder Madisyn Leffle has been voted to the CSC Academic All-District Team. Leffle, an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete and Second-Team All-American, will advance to the Academic All-American ballot.

CSC (College Sports Communicators) is an organization made up of athletic communicators at institutions across the United States and Canada. Nominations for Academic All-District are made by each school's CSC member, and nominees are then voted regionally by district. Select All-District winners then advance to the national ballot for Academic All-American distinction.

Nominees for Academic All-District must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, be a sophomore or above academically, and meet specific performance minimums per sport, such as matches played and in-match statistics.

Leffle is a graduate student studying Counseling Psychology. The recognition is her second academic honor of the season, as the 4.0 student was also named an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete one week ago at the NCCAA Softball World Series.

The centerfielder closed out the final season of her collegiate career with a team-leading .429 batting average. She scored 53 runs, walked 14 times, and stole 24 bases. In two seasons with the Warriors, Leffle has 78 stolen bases, which placed her second in program history.

She holds the single-season record of 54 stolen bases, set in 2024.

The 2025 season saw Leffle rake in multiple honors. She earned First-Team All-PacWest Conference honors, along with NFCA Second-Team All-Region and NCCAA Second-Team All-American. Leffle was an All-GSAC and Third-Team NAIA All-American selection in the 2024 campaign.

Jessup won 81 games in Leffle's two seasons in Rocklin. The Warriors reached the NAIA National Championship Game in 2024, and in their first season of NCAA Division II competition, the Warriors were crowned national champions of the NCCAA.

Leffle was one of nine Warriors honored as NCCAA Scholar-Athletes. The others were Neva Adams (Exercise Science), Hannah Aguilar (Counseling Psychology), Hannah Dominguez (Business), Olivia Dominguez (Business), Reagann Hoblit (Business Administration), Malia Ishii (Exercise Science), Kylie Nunes (Biology), and Aaliyah Pineda (Liberal Studies).

Voting for the Academic All-American team is now underway. Leffle is the first Jessup athlete to qualify for the Division II ballot.
