ROCKLIN – The next sport to make the jump from NAIA to NCAA Division II was Jessup Tennis, as the Warriors went through their first PacWest schedule in 2025. Led by an interim head coach, the Warriors are on the rise as a new era is soon to arrive in Rocklin.
The Warriors were led by head coach
Joe Patton-Isaac in the 2025 season, following the departure of head coach Chris Tolson. Patton-Isaac had been an assistant coach under Tolson before stepping into the new slot.
Women's Tennis closed out its first Division II season with a 2-15 mark, with 11 of their 17 matches occurring away from their home facility in Rocklin. Jessup finished 1-7 in away contests while adding a 1-2 mark on neutral sites.
The first victory of the season came in Fullerton when the Warriors battled an old friend from their time in the GSAC: Hope International. It was a back-and-forth battle that ultimately ended in a 4-3 victory for the Warriors.
Win number two came on March 20 when the Warriors made history with their first PacWest victory. Jessup swept Chaminade 7-0, with the match taking place in Atherton.
Men's Tennis closed the season with a 1-13 mark. Their lone victory of the campaign came in the penultimate match of the season as Jessup defeated Stanton University, 4-3.
Clark Chen and
Caleb Poling combined for the most singles wins for Jessup this season. Chen finished the year 3-3 while Poling finished 3-7. Chen went 2-1 from the fifth position, while Poling added a 2-3 mark in the fourth slot.
Poling teamed with
Vadim Francois in doubles play for the best record on the team at 4-5.
Five Warriors finished with two singles victories on the women's side:
