MERCED, CA - Jessup University's women's volleyball team pulled off a stunning reverse sweep against UC Merced on September 8, 2025, overcoming a two-set deficit to secure a 3-2 victory. After dropping the first two sets, the Warriors found their rhythm, winning the third and fourth sets to force a decisive fifth. Jessup's determination paid off as they clinched the final set with a score of 15-9.
The victory was a testament to the Warriors' resilience and depth, as the team collectively stepped up to outplay UC Merced in several key categories, including total points, kills, aces, blocks, and assists.

Kailia Phillips and
Megan Conway each contributed 8. From the service line,
Khaycee Jamias-Cadenas and
Lauren Toon each had a pair of aces. On defense,
Julia Olson anchored the net with 4 blocks, and Toon led the back row with 19 digs.
Kenzie Carpenter was the primary setter, dishing out 28 assists.
The Warriors will look to carry their momentum into the California Classic tournament in Arcata, California, where they will compete in four matches over two days.
