TURLOCK, Calif. - The men's and women's cross country teams traveled a short drive down to the 209 to compete in Turlock for the Kim Duyst Invitational. This was the first meet of the season for both squads to kick off the 2025 year.
The leader for the Warriors on the men's side was Junior, Travis Brown, with a final time of 30:00.6. The other Warriors behind him representing Jessup included Zachary Heberlein (30:25.1), Antonio Leal (31:52.2), Oscar Duncan (37:58.7), and Joel Rios-Figueroa (38:10.9).
The men's team overall placed 17th with a total time of 2:48:27.50.
On the women's side, two Warriors from Jessup University represented the team, with freshman Angela Gladysh leading the way with a final time of 22:47.3. Following closely was Juliet David, who finished with a final time of 23:56.7.
There was no team score for the women's cross country team.
Both teams will prepare for the Mike Johnson Classic set to take place on September 27th in Monmouth, Oregon, at Ash Creek Preserve.
