HONOLULU, Hawaii - Jessup concluded their stint in Hawaii in their very first PacWest matchup of the season against the Silverswords of Chaminade University. The Silverswords defeated the Warriors in a final score of 3-1.
Chaminade took the first set from the Warriors, winning 25-17. That would spark some momentum in the Warriors as an exciting second set went in favor of Jessup. Both squads battled in a 28-26 win for the Warriors.
Unfortunately, the home team was able to take the following two sets with scores of 25-14 and 25-11 to conclude the game in a 3-1 victory for the Silverswords.
Addisen Hamilton led the offensive attack for the Warriors with a total of ten kills on the night. Fellow Warriors
Kemyah Harris and
Kailia Phillips both racked up six kills. Defensively,
Jayden Santos was able to collect twelve digs.
Jessup is to return to the mainland to face the Oaks of Menlo College. This matchup is set to take place in Atherton on September 24th at 6:00 PM.
