Warriors Top Sharks in PacWest Home Contest

Dogan, Hoff, and Aurelio post double-digit points; Warriors hit the road to Point Loma Nazarene

ROCKLIN, Calif. – Securing their second PacWest win in a row, the Warriors welcomed the Hawaii Pacific Sharks for a Monday night showdown, winning their second consecutive game by a final score of 74–64.

This conference victory pushes the Warriors to 2–4 in PacWest play and 4–8 overall.

The game began as a tightly contested defensive struggle, with Jessup holding a slim 31–25 lead at the halftime break. However, the Warriors broke the contest open immediately following the intermission. Jessup's offense found its rhythm in the third period, outscoring the Sharks 25–14 to build a double-digit cushion.

A major turning point occurred during that third quarter when timely perimeter shooting from Hailey Hoff and aggressive drives by Giselle Dogan pushed the lead to 17 points. While Hawaii Pacific mounted a desperate 25-point surge in the final quarter, Jessup's efficient shooting and defensive presence in the paint proved too much to overcome. Despite Hawaii Pacific forcing 22 Jessup turnovers and converting those mistakes into 20 points, the Warriors remained poised.

Jessup finished the night shooting an impressive 48.9% from the floor and a sharp 42.1% from beyond the arc. By comparison, Hawaii Pacific struggled to find consistency, shooting 38.6% overall and 31% from three-point range. The Warriors also controlled the glass, out-rebounding the Sharks 35–30, and anchored their defense with five blocked shots while preventing HPU from recording any.

Giselle Dogan was the undisputed star of the night for Jessup, pouring in a game-high 24 points off the bench in just 25 minutes of action. She was supported by Andheya Aurelio, who provided 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting along with three steals, and Hailey Hoff, who knocked down three critical triples on her way to a 15-point performance.

The Warriors will now hit the road to take on Point Loma Nazarene on January 8th, with tip-off set for 2:00 PM.
