PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Jessup athletics men's golf finished sixth at the RCA Electric Invitational on Tuesday, firing a team score of 287 (+7) in the final round at Pasadera Country Club. That was the third-lowest round of the day, behind only tournament champion Stanislaus State (278) and runner-up Menlo (284).

The Warriors finished with a three-round total of 885 (+45), just two strokes behind fifth-place Chaminade (883) and three ahead of Westmont (888) in a tightly packed middle of the field. Stanislaus State won the 10-team event at 857.
Jessup's climb came one round at a time. After a 305 (+25) in round one, the Warriors tightened up with a 293 (+13) in round two and then closed with the 287. That's an 18-stroke improvement from start to finish, and Jessup outplayed Chaminade by 12 strokes in the final round alone.

Junior Jacobus Brakkee led the way and finished tied for eighth individually at 214 (+4) with rounds of 74, 71 and 69. His closing 69 (-1) was one of only a handful of sub-par rounds in the final round and a three-stroke improvement on his round two score. Dylan Meskowsky was next at 218 (+8), tying for 17th with rounds of 73, 72 and 73, and was consistent all week.

Job Damen and Emilio Morales both tied for 40th at 228 (+18). Both improved as the tournament went on: Damen went from an opening 80 to back-to-back 74s, while Morales dropped from 78 to 76 to 74. Braden Armstrong, who finished 53rd at 234 (+24), made the biggest jump of the week. He followed an 80 and an 83 with a 71 (+1) in the final round, a 12-stroke improvement over round two. All five Jessup scorers posted a 74 or better on the last day.

Competing as individuals, Nick Chavarin tied Armstrong for 53rd at 234 (+24) with rounds of 75, 82 and 77. Trevor Halloran tied for 60th at 240 (+30).

Me'ns golf wraps up the Fall schedule and the next event is the Fujikara Invitational, hosted by Cal State San Marcos on Feb. 9-10, 2027, at Shadow Ridge Country Club in Vista, Calif.
