ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Jessup women's tennis visited the University of the Pacific Tigers on Friday afternoon for a non-conference meeting, 7-0.

The business trip to Stockton began with doubles play as Brianna Smith and Giselli Reschke faced off with the Tigers first. The duo fell to the UOP 6-1. Daniella Akabane and Maria Antonella Cardenas did not compete in doubles as Jessup dropped the third pair with a forfeit. 

In singles #1, Smith fell to her Tiger opponent (0-6, 0-6) as Reschke competed but fell (2-6, 0-6). Akabane (1-6, 1-6) and Rylie Maloney (0-6, 1-6) dropped singles #3 and #4. Antonella Cardenas pushed her #5 singles opponent in a tough fight, (4-4, 6-6). 

Women's tennis will be back on the court on Tuesday, March 3rd at Santa Barbara. The team will compete against Westmont College for a PacWest battle.
