ROCKLIN, Calif. – The long-awaited return to Warrior Arena after an extended road stint did not disappoint, as the Warriors set records and clinched a PacWest victory. The Warriors defeated the Sunbirds on their home court by a final score of 63–57.
The win puts the Warriors at 4–12 in conference play and 6–16 overall.
Hailey Hoff etched her name into the record book, setting the single-game three-point record with seven on the night. She finished with 25 points, shooting 7-for-10 from beyond the three-point arc, 2-for-2 from the free-throw line, and adding eight rebounds.
Behind Hoff was Andheya Aurelio, who also reached double figures while continuing her strong shooting performance, scoring 15 points in the Warrior win.
Jessup's offense came out of the gates hot, scoring 22 points in the first quarter. The Warriors went into halftime with a 31–25 lead over the Sunbirds. Jessup didn't let up, outscoring Fresno 20–16 in the third quarter.
The Warriors continued their strong offensive push and secured the 63–57 victory.
Jessup will return to home court this Saturday to take on the Azusa Pacific University Cougars. Tipoff is set for 1:00 PM.
