BEAUMONT, Calif. - Jessup men's golf competed at the Coyote Classic to begin the week for their fourth event of the spring season.
Freshman Jacobus Brakkee continued to lead the Warriors on the year with a T24 finish, posting rounds of 75, 72, 74, to finish +5 on the week. Senior Daniel Johnson was the Warriors' second-best finisher, posting scores of 79, 74, and 77 to finish T51. Senior Jerah Venkaiya finished in T53, posting three contributing rounds. Junior Nick Chavrin posted a notable 2nd round 72, and Junior Braden Armstrong posted a contributing 77 in round one. As a team, the Warriors finished in 10th out of 13 teams. At the top of the leaderboard, the Coyotes of CSU San Bernardino finished in 1st, with their very own Kamron Hopson finishing in 1st at an impressive 16 under par.
This week marks the midway point of the spring season. With two events left in the year, the Warriors look ahead to the Dominican Spring Invitational hosted by Dominican University on April 5th and 6th in Sonoma, California.
