NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV- Jessup University men's golf team closed the curtain on their 2026 spring season this week, securing a fifth-place team finish at the highly competitive PacWest Conference Men's Championship.

Appearing at the Aliante Golf Club in North Las Vegas, the Warriors navigated a grueling 54-hole layout against a talented field of NCAA Division II and PacWest rivals. Battling unpredictable desert winds and challenging course conditions over the three-day event, the squad held their ground to finish near the middle of the conference pack.

Throughout the tournament, the Warriors demonstrated both resilience and shot-making ability, constantly jockeying for position on a crowded leaderboard. While the team narrowly missed out on the upper echelon of the standings, their final outing highlighted the continued development and tenacity of the program under Head Coach Seth Heppner.

Jacobus Brakkee was the highlight for the Warriors all tournament long as he finished tied for a bronze finish ending even par. He met par on day one, shot +1 on day two but found himself under 1 on the final day. Braden Armstrong finished tied for 8th as he shot +3. Jerah Venkaiya (+11) and Daniel Johnson (+22) rounded out the Jessup lineup. 

Taking home the hardware at the top of the leaderboard was No. 28-ranked Hawaii-Hilo. The Vulcans claimed the PacWest team title while they also went home with gold in the individual leaderboard. 

With the spring schedule now officially complete, the Warriors will transition into the offseason. The team aims to harness the momentum gained from a year filled with notable individual achievements, including recent runner-up finishes and weekly conference honors as they regroup and prepare for the future.
