TURLOCK, Calif. - The Warriors finished their final event of the spring season in conference play. With the event one week away from the conference tournament, this event was a final opportunity for the Warriors to prepare and gain momentum ahead of their trip to Vegas. 

The Warriors were one of eleven teams in the field this week and finished in 8th place overall. CSU San Bernardino and Chico State found themselves as co-champions after both teams finished at eight-under-par. 

After a strong day-one performance that had the Warriors sitting in fifth place, despite recording their toughest round of the tournament, round three showed their resilience as they continued to compete with the same grit and consistency that defined their play in the previous two events. 

Junior Braden Armstrong led the way for the Warriors this week. After entering the final round in a three-way tie for first, he posted a one-over-par 72 to finish fifth. He was also the top-finishing individual among PacWest Conference players in the field. Three Warriors followed Armstrong in a T31, with Jacobus Brakkee, Paolo Castenada, and Daniel Johnson (playing as an individual) all finishing at nine-over-par. Senior Jerah Venkaya rounded out the Warriors' counting score, posting a five-over-par 76 to finish in 56th place. Junior Nick Chavirin followed behind him, finishing in 60th place.

As previously mentioned, the Hanny Stanislaus Invite marks the last tournament before conference play. Both the Men's and Women's Golf Teams leave Saturday, April 18th, for Las Vegas, Nevada, where they will see the full list of Pacwest golf programs. The tournament will be hosted for the 2nd year in a row at Alicante Golf Club, starting on April 20th through the 23rd.
