ROCKLIN, Calif. — Coming off a strong finish to their first season of NCAA Division II postseason eligibility, the Jessup University men's basketball team has officially unveiled its schedule for the 2026–27 campaign. Building on momentum after closing out last season with a 6-2 run, the Warriors enter the upcoming year eager to establish themselves as a force in the PacWest Conference.

The Warriors will open their season with a high-profile local showdown against Division I Big West opponent Sacramento State, led by head coach Mike Bibby, on November 2. It marks the second consecutive year the two Sacramento-area programs face off on the hardwood, setting an energetic tone for Jessup's non-conference slate. Following the opener, Jessup embarks on a 10-game non-conference run featuring six home games and four on the road, with eight of those contests coming against California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) foes carrying immediate regional weight. The home slate begins November 13–14 with the Crossover Challenge at Warrior Arena, where Jessup hosts Stanislaus State alongside reigning 2025–26 West Region champion Cal State East Bay. The following week, November 20–21, the Warriors remain at home for the annual Bill Holtz Classic to match up against UC Merced and Chico State.

Jessup opens PacWest play on its home floor December 3 and 5, welcoming the top two teams from last season's conference standings, Point Loma and Westmont, to Warrior Arena. In January, the Warriors will make their return trip to the Hawaiian Islands for three PacWest road contests. Jessup finishes out the regular season with four straight games on the road before shifting focus to the PacWest Tournament, scheduled for March 4–6.

"I am excited about the schedule we built," said Head Coach Mark Darnall. "The opportunity to play the other local four-year school in Sacramento State is a great opportunity for our team and I think is great for the Sacramento area. Our non-conference slate against CCAA opponents will be a good challenge and have West Region implications right off the bat in November. We have a great mix of home and road games to prepare us for the conference schedule. The PacWest will be as competitive as ever and we are looking forward to the challenge."

Key dates on the schedule include the November 2 Division I exhibition against Sacramento State, the November 13–14 Crossover Challenge against Stanislaus State and Cal State East Bay, the November 20–21 Bill Holtz Classic against UC Merced and Chico State, the December 3 and 5 PacWest home openers against Point Loma and Westmont, and the PacWest Conference Tournament running March 4–6.
