ROCKLIN, Calif. – After COVID-19 protocols forced the postponement of the final two series of the regular season for Jessup Baseball and Softball, the two teams have officially announced rescheduled dates for the remainder of the year.
 
Both programs were scheduled to be in Fullerton this past weekend for GSAC battles against Hope International. Following what was to be the final road trip of the season, Jessup was to host San Diego Christian College this upcoming weekend for both sports in Lincoln.
 
Officially, Jessup Baseball will now hit the road for Fullerton Monday, April 26 and 27, with first pitch of the doubleheader on each date starting at 11 a.m. San Diego Christian will then make their way to McBean Park Sunday, May 2 – 3 for the final series of the year.
 
The series against SDCC will begin with a noon start time on Sunday, followed by a traditional 11 a.m. first pitch for Senior Day on Monday the 3rd.  
 
For Jessup Softball, looking to stay near the top of the GSAC standings, their series with SDCC has been pushed back to Sunday, April 25 – 26. The series begins with a 4 p.m. start time on Sunday, followed by a 2 p.m. first pitch on Monday.
 
Jessup Softball will wrap up their series in Fullerton April 29 – 30, as the Thursday-Friday matchup will begin at noon on both dates.
 
The Warriors currently sit 6.5 games out of first place in the GSAC West Softball standings. Hope International currently leads the division. In baseball, Jessup sits eight games behind first-place Vanguard.
 
Due to expected inclimate weather in the forecast this weekend, Jessup Softball will play their games at an all-turf complex, the Woodland Sports Park in Woodland, CA.
