ROCKLIN, Calif. – The scheduled contest between the Warriors and CSU Monterey Bay has been canceled. The Otters were scheduled to visit Warrior Field tomorrow at 2 p.m., but with temperatures expected near 110 degrees at kickoff, the decision was made to cancel the contest.
 
Wednesday would have been the second meeting all time between the two sides. Jessup visited Monterey Bay last season.
 
The Warriors were coming into Wednesday off a loss to UC Merced on Monday. Last week, Jessup went 1-0-1 against Pacific Union and Antelope Valley. Sophomore Diego Nunez's play earned him GSAC Player of the Week honors.
 
No make-up date for the match between Jessup and CSU Monterey Bay has been announced. The Warriors are scheduled to next hit the pitch on September 13 when they travel to the California Maritime Academy.
 
Jessup will return home on Warrior Field on September 29 for the GSAC opener against Hope International.
