DAVIS, Calif. – The Jessup women's tennis program was in Davis on Saturday, taking on the UC Davis Aggies in an exhibition. The match went in favor of Davis, 9-0, as the Warriors gear up for the spring season ahead.
 
UC Davis claimed three points for the doubles victory, taking the match 6-0 from the first position and 6-2 in the second. A victory by default was claimed twice in both doubles and singles play.
 
Jessica Holbea put up a good fight in her singles bout, dropping the first set 6-4 before a 6-0 victory by the Aggies in the second. It was a 6-0 sweep for the DI Aggies in singles action.
 
Saturday will not count against the Warriors' record, as it was an exhibition.
 
Jessup will next be in action on February 3 when they host Stanislaus State. Home matches this season will take place on the campus of Sierra College.
