GREENVILLE, S.C. – Women's Volleyball is sitting in the top ten of the NCCAA, as the latest coaches' poll was released on Tuesday. With a 5-5 record to start their first NCAA Division II season, the Warriors are ranked No. 7 in the NCCAA rankings.
 
Jessup joined the NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association) this summer. With the Warriors being provisional members of NCAA Division II, the move to join the NCCAA creates an opportunity for the university to compete in the postseason throughout the 2024-25 season.
 
Tuesday is the second coaches' poll released by the NCCAA this year. Jessup also sat seventh in the last poll.
 
The Warriors are 5-5 in their first season under head coach Kyle Steele, including victories over Division II programs Academy of Art, Chico State, Stanislaus State, and Menlo. Three of Jessup's losses have been in five sets to Division II opponents.
 
Columbia International (16-2) sits at the top of the coaches' poll, moving up one spot as Grace (13-2) moves down to second. The Warriors are the only PacWest program ranked in the top ten of the NCCAA rankings.
 
The updated AVCA/TARAFLEX Division II poll was also released this week, serving as the official ranking for NCAA Division II women's volleyball. Chaminade, Jessup's next opponent, finds themselves tied at ninth in the nation. Point Loma is also ranked at No. 20.
 
Jessup will see Point Loma next week.
 
The Warriors will square off with the Silverswords of Chaminade on Thursday at 6 p.m., followed by a Saturday night matchup with Hawaii Hilo. Tickets for this weekend can be purchased HERE.
