SUNNYVALE, Calif. - The men and women laced up for the final cross-country race of the inaugural NCAA season. The race was held in the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational in Sunnyvale, California.
The women of Jessup lined up at the starting line to compete against fourteen opposing teams. The Warriors placed 13th overall, with a total time of 2:30:51 and a score of 384, to conclude the day on the team results.
Racing for the women included: Cheyenne Ullrich (25:30.8), Tayla Starr (27:01.8), Alexis Housh (31:49.1), Lydia Kang ((32:19.6), Erica Waseq (34:10.6), and Jaylee Hamiester (37:09.8).
On the men's side, they placed 17th among 18 teams competing on the day. The team time for the day was 2:36:54, with a total of 452 for a final score.
The men's field included Zachary Heberlein (27:58.4), Devon Hammeke (29:23.1), Ethan Loomis (31:00.6), Antonio Leal (33:52.8), and Oscar Duncan (34:39.8).
This will conclude the Warriors' regular fall schedule; next up is the PacWest Championships at OC Great Park.
