THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Jessup Tennis' annual spring break trip to Southern California has come and gone, as the road trip concluded with a visit to California Lutheran. With both teams in action, Jessup leaves with two losses, as their next official matches will be played at home.
 
The duo of matches comes 24 hours removed from the men's contest in La Mirada being rained out. Jessup was set to take on future PacWest rivals Biola on Monday.
 
Cal Lutheran won both of the day's matches, with the men falling 7-2 and the women dropping their bout 5-0.
 
Jessup's two points in the men's match came in doubles action, as the Warriors won two of the three scheduled duals. Winning in the first position was the duo of 
Isaac Graves and 
Caleb Poling, while 
Austrebeto Carlon and 
Joan Garros claimed victory in their match as well.
 
Cal Lutheran then proceeded to sweep singles action, along with a 5-0 sweep in the women's match.
 
The Jessup men will compete in three scrimmages before they compete next, with their next official match being on March 16 against Saint Katherine. On the women's side, they will also play three scrimmages before hosting College of Idaho on March 25.
 
All home matches this season will take place at Sierra College.
