Baseball Pushes Bethesda Series to Sunday and Monday

Both teams agreed to postpone the series due to rain projected throughout the weekend; Monday will begin at 11 a.m., while Sunday is TBD

LINCOLN, Calif. – As another weekend of rain is projected to hit Lincoln this weekend, Jessup and Bethesda have agreed to postpone this weekend's series two days. The series will start on Sunday and conclude with a doubleheader on Monday.

An official game time for Sunday's doubleheader has not been confirmed, but once it is, the updated information will be added to jessupathletics.com.

The series will conclude on Monday with a second doubleheader, as the game time has been confirmed for 11 a.m. Fans who purchased tickets already for the original dates can still use those or reach out to Jessup Athletics for a refund.

Jessup is coming off a series sweep of Menlo College in which the Warriors plated 44 runs and hit 11 home runs. Jessup leads the NAIA with 44 home runs this season, and they are 13-1 when playing on their home field at McBean Stadium.

Bethesda enters the weekend 3-13 overall and will be playing their third GSAC opponent of the season, as they have already faced The Master's and Vanguard. It will be the Flames' first trip to Lincoln since February 2018.

All games will still be live-streamed for free on the GSAC Sports Network. As more updates on the weekend become available, they will be released via @Jessup_BASE on X.
