FRESNO, Calif. – Men's Tennis was in action on Thursday as they traveled to Fresno to compete on a neutral site. On the schedule at Fresno Pacific's tennis complex was Colorado Mesa University, as Jessup lost the match 4-1.
Jessup's lone point came in single's action as
Austrebeto Carlon won from the first position in straight sets. Carlon took both sets 7-5 over CMU's Philemon Jabin. Others in action in single's play included
Isaac Graves,
Joan Garros,
Tanner Sitanggang,
Josue Madiana, and
Caleb Poling.
Madiana and Poling's singles matches went unfinished.
Carlon and Garros teamed up for a 6-3 victory in doubles action, but the point went to CMU after winning the other two contests.
Jessup will be in action again on Saturday when they visit the University of Nevada. The day will begin with a scrimmage and then will wrap up with an exhibition in the afternoon.
