Baumert and Jedlicka Compete at the Reno Pole Vault Summit

Baumert matches her career PR; Jedlicka posts a new PR in the men’s pole vault

RENO, Nev. – Two Warriors were in competition Saturday afternoon as an annual staple to the track schedule occurred for the Warriors in Reno. Competing in the Reno Pole Vault Summit, Jessup's Brock Jedlicka and Paloma Baumert continued in Jessup's first Division II campaign.
 
For Jedlicka, the competition was his first of the season, while Baumert continued her year after two indoor meets already in Reno.
 
Baumert finished the competition with a top mark of 3.55m, matching her career PR, which was set last May at the West Coast Last Chance in Hayward. She placed fourth in the field.
 
Jedlicka entered the day with a collegiate PR of 3.05m, set at the Stanislaus State Multi event in 2024. He surpassed that mark on Saturday by hitting 3.25 in the men's open division, placing him ninth in the field.
 
Indoor season will continue for the Jessup women next weekend as the Warriors are scheduled to compete in the Nevada Invitational, hosted in Reno. The Jessup men will begin their spring with the full team in competition on February 22 at the Sunbird Invitational in Fresno.
 
The 2025 NCCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championship begins on February 7. Qualifiers have not been announced yet.
