WAIPAHU, Hawai'i – The Jessup University men's and women's Cross Country teams concluded their highly competitive 2025 season by challenging a talented field at the PacWest Conference Championships today, hosted at the beautiful Hawai'i Country Club on the island of Oahu.
Teams competing included PacWest foes of Biola, Point Loma, Vanguard, Concordia, Azusa Pacific, Fresno Pacific, Hawaii Hilo, Westmont, Chaminade, Dominican, and Hawaii Pacific.Â
The Warrior women put up a resilient effort on the challenging 6k course, placing 10th overall out of 12 teams, with Biola ultimately winning.Â
At the top of the individual leaderboard for the women's team, Angela Gladysh continued her respectable season as she placed 20th overall, finishing with a final time of 22:35.8. Juliet David had the second-best time for the Warriors, finishing 66th overall with a total time of 25:02.7.
Mary Stuart (25:56.9), Addisyn Allen (28:35.9), and Kayla Carpenter (31:20.0) were other Warriors contenders in the 808 state.
The Jessup men navigated the demanding 8k course and placed 9th overall out of 10 teams.Â
The duo of Travis Brown and Zachary Heberlein were the Warriors' top finishers on the men's side. Brown placed 54th overall, posting a 29:04.8 time. Heberlein was right behind his teammate, finishing with a total time of 29:35.3, 57th overall.
Antonio Leal (32:51.3), Logan Scammell (34:55.2), Oscar Duncan (36:06.4), and Joel Rios-Figueroa (36:26.2) all ran for the Warriors on the men's side.Â
Both squads will prepare for the NCAA West Region Women's Cross Country Championships on November 8th in Monmouth, Oregon.Â
