CHICO, Calif. – The first outdoor meet of the 2025 season has concluded, as three Warriors competed in multiple events as part of Chico State's Multi-Event meet this week. The event is the official start of the outdoor season, following a month of indoor events by the women's track team.

Brock Jedlicka became the first Jessup male to compete in outdoor track competition at the Division II level, as he competed in the decathlon. Jedlicka placed tenth in the event with a score of 4392.

Representing the Jessup women were
Jocelyn Pedretti and
Jaylee Hameister.
Â
For Pedretti, competing for the first time since the NCCAA National Championship, she placed second in her first outdoor heptathlon with the Warriors. Pedretti finished first in the javelin with a mark of 32.40m and first in the shot put at 11.99m.

Hameister finished sixth with a score of 2803. She finished fourth in the long jump with a top mark of 4.53m.
