ROCKLIN, Calif. – Selections for the 2024-25 CSC Academic All-District team were announced Tuesday morning, and representing Jessup is senior wing Aydan Janssan. Janssan, who just wrapped up his second season with the Warriors, was a team leader both on the court and in the classroom.
 
CSC (College Sports Communicators) is an organization made up of athletic communicators at institutions across the United States and Canada. Nominations for Academic All-District are made by each school's CSC member, and nominees are then voted regionally by district. Select All-District winners then advance to the national ballot for Academic All-American distinction.
 
Nominees for Academic All-District must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, be a sophomore or above academically, and meet specific performance minimums per sport, such as matches played and in-match statistics.
 
Janssan is a Liberal Studies major in his senior season with the Warriors. Tuesday's award is the second time he has been recognized for his academic achievements this year as he was also named an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete. Athletically, Janssan was selected to the NCCAA All-District team as well.
 
The Australian native wrapped up his senior season, leading the PacWest with 9.2 rebounds per game. He was also a team leader in several categories, including field goal percentage (.515), minutes played (827), rebounds (231), and assists (51).
 
Janssan pulled down at least ten boards in 13 games this season. He had a double-double in eight of those games. At one point in the season, he had a streak of five consecutive games with at least ten boards. Janssan had a season-high 15 rebounds against Menlo on December 19 and scored a season-best 23 points in the season-opener against Multnomah.
 
He added a second 20-point performance with his 22-point day against Academy of Art on January 8.
 
The 2024-25 season was the Warriors' first competing at the NCAA Division II level and the PacWest Conference. Jessup went 9-17 overall, with six of those wins coming in conference play.
