MALIBU, Calif. – The final week of Jessup's first regular season is among us as the Warriors are in Malibu for a pair of dates with Pepperdine. Jessup got off to a hot start against the Division I Waves, but the match ultimately ended with the Warriors on the wrong end of a four-set finish.
Jessup is now 11-8 under head coach
Kyle Steele in its inaugural campaign.
Pepperdine, the second Division I program on the schedule for Jessup in the 2025 season, entered the week ranked No. 8 nationally in the latest poll. They are 16-7 on the season with the win.
The opening set saw the Warriors grab a 1-0 lead on their Division I counterparts as a 27-25 finish had Jessup rolling in the right direction. Sets two and three had a different feel as Pepperdine bounced back to win in commanding fashion. Set two ended with a 25-18 finish, followed by a 25-13 win in the third.
Jessup regrouped to force a battle in set four as the set extended past 25 points, but again, it was the Waves on the winning end, this time by the final of 26-24.

Pepperdine saw Cole Hartke lead the Waves with 20 kills to match Lopuch's efforts.
